Teri Malbraaten, 69, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Neilson Place, Bemidji. Special thanks to Bemidji Sanford Homecare and Hospice team. 3 Grandchildren: Brandon (Carrie) Christianson, Justin Christianson (Kara Ortmeier) and Meagan (Aaron) Hulsebus 5 Great-grandchildren: Emryn, Declan, Afton, James and Simon Siblings: David (Becky) Christianson, Marcene (Nick) Molitor, Joy Christianson (Ed Rucinski), Regina Lalim and sister-in-law Sharon Christianson He was preceded in death by his parents Peder and Dorothy, his brother Harold and 2 infant siblings Bonnie and Nancy, his brother-in-law David Lalim and his son-in-law Garry Fleck. He was Secretary for Rural Electric Association (REA) for several years and on the Board of Directors for Square Butte power company.Īrne is survived by his long-time partner Barb Evans and his two children Tonneli Christianson and Bruce (Lori) Christianson. He was on the Planning Commission and Variance Committee for Hubbard County and Governor for Cooperative Development. He held various logging and trucking jobs before owning and operating his own business, Steamboat Sawmill from 1973 until 1999. They had 2 children, Tonneli and Bruce, and later divorced. He graduated from Bemidji High School in 1960 and married Carol Hinrichs in 1961. Growing up and throughout his life he loved to hunt, fish, golf and play cards (especially cribbage). He was born February 25, 1942, in Hibbing to Peder and Dorothy (Stecker) Christianson and lived in Kelly Lake before moving to Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, Augat Aardahl Lutheran Church, Bemidji. ![]() Arnold “Arne” Bruce Christianson died Sunday, July 30th at his home in Bemidji, Minnesota.
